About the Role
As our Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping our hotel safe, operational, and running without interruption. You'll join our technical department, where teamwork and collaboration are key to deliver the best guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and technical equipment
- Repairing electrical, mechanical, and building-related installations
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and inspections
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems
- Preparing and supporting renovation and improvement projects
- Working together with external contractors and ensuring work is completed safely
- Identifying opportunities before small issues become major problems
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical maintenance or engineering role
- Hotel experience is a plus, not a must
- Knowledge of electrical installations and/or mechanical engineering
- An eye for detail
- Flexibility and a positive, Yes I Can! Attitude
- Is a creative problem-solver
- Strong communication skills in English
- Flexibility to participate in a fair rotating weekend schedule shared across the technical team
- Flexibility to take part in the on-call duty roster
