About the Role
Velociti Services is seeking a Communications & Marketing Manager to lead internal communications, executive messaging, social media, and content development for Velociti and SecurNation. This role requires a strong writer and organized project manager to translate business priorities into engaging communications, partnering with various teams to enhance employee engagement, maintain brand consistency, and support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute employee communications, including announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, and change communications.
- Draft and edit executive presentations, talking points, and articles, collaborating with leaders and subject matter experts.
- Partner with HR to support culture initiatives, employee engagement programs, and event communications.
- Identify and develop employee spotlights, culture stories, customer successes, and business updates to enhance brand and employer branding.
- Write and edit marketing content for internal and external audiences.
- Support sales enablement initiatives, including content development and tradeshow communications.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all communications and marketing materials.
- Manage social media content planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
- Support website content updates and other digital communications.
- Monitor communications and social media performance, recommending improvements.
- Maintain editorial calendars, project timelines, and content schedules.
- Manage incoming requests, competing priorities, and approval processes.
- Coordinate with agency partners, designers, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in communications, marketing or public relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Experience managing social media and digital content programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with leaders, internal teams, and external partners.
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through.
- Ability to work in the office full-time.
