About the Role
Join Lendi Group's AI Engineering team to build the next generation of AI-powered products and agentic systems. You will work on Greenfield projects, developing AI agents, intelligent workflows, and supporting services across the full stack, from React frontends and Node.js services to cloud infrastructure and data stores. This hands-on role is for someone excited about AI's impact on software development, offering opportunities to experiment with new technologies and solve complex challenges in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-powered applications, agentic systems, and supporting services.
- Develop full-stack solutions using TypeScript, Node.js, and React, covering frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations.
- Build and integrate AI agents and intelligent workflows using concepts like RAG, prompt engineering, and orchestration.
- Contribute to Greenfield engineering projects, influencing technical designs and architecture.
- Develop and maintain scalable, event-driven services using AWS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
- Own engineering work from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand business problems and identify technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues using logs, tracing, and debugging.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Deliver solutions iteratively, balancing speed, quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools, validating outputs and maintaining code quality.
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, tools, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Solid understanding of APIs, backend services, databases, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions) and messaging technologies.
- Experience with MongoDB and/or DynamoDB.
- Demonstrated experience exploring, building, or integrating AI-powered applications.
- Familiarity with AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, evaluation, context management, and tracing.
- Strong technical design and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Proactive, ownership-driven approach to engineering, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong product thinking and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) with sound judgment.
