About the Role
Mollie Stone’s Markets is seeking a Part Time Prep Cook for its Tower location in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented and adaptable to daily task variations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with immediate and undivided attention.
- Ensure food quality, quantity, freshness, and presentation meet kitchen and recipe guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of walk-ins and freezers, and ensure proper product storage.
- Demonstrate knowledge of product availability, preparation, storage, and nutritional information.
- Document waste and spoilage accurately and meet all spoilage targets.
Requirements
- Previous prep cook or kitchen experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow recipe specifications.
- Proficiency in food handling in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to reach for up to 4 hours per day.
