About the Role
W Sydney is seeking a Barista to focus on customer service and cocktail elaboration. This role collaborates closely with venue management to create unique and vibrant experiences for guests, focusing on curating diverse and authentic experiences and creating lasting memories.
Responsibilities
- Supervises daily beverage operations and assists with beverage offerings and upsells, menu planning and assists the talent on the floor during peak meal periods.
- Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.
- Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan.
- Works in partnership with the BTWN Restaurant Management team to execute smooth and flawless operations.
- Completes all barista opening, cleaning, and closing duties as per checklist.
- Develops a complete working knowledge of all food and beverage served in the Restaurant.
- Ensures that all details of service are performed to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with LQA standards.
- Maintains cleanliness of equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Maintains proper restock and replenish for the venue, including the coffee machine area.
- Performs preventative maintenance to keep machines and equipment in working condition.
- Contributes to shift briefings as required.
- Ensures checks are closed and guest billing is accurate.
- Monitors opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by barista.
