About the Role
Austin Country Club is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join the night shift hospitality team. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our prestigious club, ensuring an enjoyable experience for guests and a safe environment for staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the club is kept clean and tidy for guest enjoyment and staff safety.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to remove debris.
- Conduct light and heavy cleaning tasks including window washing, furniture polishing, and floor cleaning/polishing.
- Maintain cleanliness of offices, public spaces, the Clubhouse, Gym, Tennis facilities, Learning Center, and restroom facilities.
- Empty trash cans and ashtrays.
- Collect, wash, and fold towels after guest use.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- 3 months of related work experience or training.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to present oneself in a clean and professional manner.
