About the Role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for its specialized Trench Safety / Trenching Rental Division. This role involves delivering, loading, and recovering specialized trench shielding, shoring, and excavation safety equipment to customer job sites.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, load, and recover specialized trench shielding, shoring, and excavation safety equipment to and from customer job sites.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment checks at customer job sites.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license with Class A CDL certification.
- Acceptable driver's record.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles and hauling heavy construction/trenching equipment.
- Ability or experience using a truck-mounted crane/knuckle boom for loading, unloading, and staging heavy trench shoring equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience driving flatbed, dovetail, or lowboy/RGN trailers.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment checks at customer job sites.
- Strong customer service focus and dedication to safety on the road and job site.
- Physical demands require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors.
