About the Role
The Huntington Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a Salesforce.com Platform Senior Architect with deep experience across Sales & Service, Marketing, Financial Services Clouds, and MuleSoft. This role provides technical leadership and serves as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners, guiding the Salesforce COE Service Delivery leaders, Technical Delivery teams, and peer Architects.
Responsibilities
- Provide Salesforce architecture and design guidance by engaging business, risk, and technology partners to ensure Salesforce platform-based solutions meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate the platform architectural target state and direction.
- Communicate and govern use of architectural trends and best practices within the application domain through peer-to-peer solution formulation, team design reviews, and COE Architecture Review Board membership.
- Conduct product/solution evaluations by creating prototypes/proofs of concept.
- Mentor technical delivery staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience architecting enterprise Salesforce implementations including Sales, Service, Financial services, and Marketing Clouds.
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible technical and business work experience developing enterprise-level applications, including a minimum of 5 years of Salesforce.com full-stack development experience.
- Salesforce Data Model knowledge and strong data modeling experience.
- Familiar with Salesforce platform security patterns and implementation in a full-stack environment.
- Familiar with enterprise communication patterns including events, services, and bulk data movement.
- Proven strategic thinker capable of defining current and target state architecture and the roadmap to achieve it.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
