About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security Service Technician to join our Sydney Service Team. This role offers a variety of work, strong customer relationships, and hands-on technical problem-solving across commercial customer portfolios, servicing and maintaining advanced security systems, and managing upgrade and fit-out projects. You will have the opportunity to expand your expertise and develop your career into areas such as project delivery, commissioning, technical leadership, sales, and management.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair security systems across customer sites
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Deliver small to medium security upgrades and fit-out projects
- Commission newly installed security systems
- Prepare quotations for repair works and recommended upgrades
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide expert technical support
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Support the wider Projects Team across new and existing customer sites
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar security technician role
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding experience
- Sound networking, systems and PC knowledge
- Experience installing, servicing and commissioning electronic security systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Australian working rights
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Current Security Licence
- Current Cabling Registration
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
