About the Role
Serasana, a Wellness Center focused on stress and pain management through ancient wellness practices, is seeking a Part-time Licensed Massage Therapist for its Southwest Austin location. The center offers a unique environment with a tea bar, retail selection, and six treatment rooms.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients regarding their current needs, medical history, and overall wellness.
- Customize sessions based on specific client complaints or problem areas.
- Complete SOAP notes after each session.
- Recommend treatment plans, including suggestions for better health and Serasana's offerings, providing a written Wellness Prescription.
- Clean and sanitize therapy rooms and equipment, replacing linens between sessions.
Requirements
- Current Texas Massage Therapy License
- Current liability insurance
- Ability to perform soothing and deep tissue massage
- Ability to assist clients with disabilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Live a tobacco-free lifestyle
- Report to work free from any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol

- Base pay per service + tips = estimated average $45 to $60 for 50 minute services and $75 to $90 for 80 minute services
