About the Role
Lola Blankets is seeking seasonal retail associates for its new SoHo store. This role involves creating an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and contributing to store operations during the busy holiday season. You will be instrumental in bringing the Lola brand story to life for every customer.
Responsibilities
- Create an unforgettable customer experience by welcoming customers and ensuring their needs are met.
- Provide product knowledge on fabrics, collections, and styling.
- Forge lasting customer relationships and engage them about product details and new launches.
- Stay informed about new products, sales trends, and upcoming events to share with customers.
- Support the team in achieving store sales goals.
- Continuously seek product knowledge in the fashion and home landscape.
- Contribute to store projects while maintaining a focus on customer experience.
- Flag inventory needs to management.
- Support daily store maintenance, including restocking and visual merchandising.
- Maintain store cleanliness.
- Follow store protocols and safety standards.
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and role responsibilities.
Requirements
- 1+ years of retail or customer-facing sales experience.
- A genuine connection to the Lola brand and story, with enthusiasm for sharing it.
- Available for part-time hourly shifts through January 15th, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable and punctual, adhering to scheduled shifts.
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Expertise in customer service, creating experiences, and developing relationships.
- Ability to embrace the social aspect of sales.
- Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback.
- Must be available on Sundays, weekdays, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.
