About the Role

Serve as a technical leader on a domain product team delivering high-impact, full-stack business applications and ServiceNow solutions. Drive architecture within your product domain, champion effective use of platform capabilities, and act as a key feedback partner to platform teams, while mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of full-stack systems using TypeScript/React and Go.
  • Own complex ServiceNow development initiatives, including custom applications and enterprise integrations within your domain.
  • Drive your team's adoption of self-service platform capabilities and establish team standards on top of them.
  • Partner with central platform teams: provide feedback, influence roadmaps, and contribute improvements to shared templates and modules.
  • Lead the development of agentic and AI product capabilities, ideally leveraging AWS Bedrock.
  • Own production readiness for your team's services: observability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Mentor and develop engineers through design reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
  • Partner with product stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience, including ownership of production systems at scale.
  • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React, and strong backend experience with Go.
  • Deep understanding of system design, API architecture, security, and performance optimization.
  • Proven success operating in a DevOps/self-service environment where product teams own their infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership: driving projects end-to-end, setting standards, and mentoring engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ServiceNow development and integration experience.
  • Deep CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions or similar).
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code expertise (Terraform or similar).
  • Experience self-serving through internal developer portals such as Backstage.
  • Production experience building agentic/AI systems; hands-on AWS Bedrock experience is a strong differentiator.
