About the Role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you will provide Partner-led service and passion for food, ensuring customers have a positive experience. Your efforts will contribute to customer loyalty and repeat business. Additionally, any hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00 will receive a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
- Reducing wastage by managing product due diligence and markdowns for items nearing their sell-by date.
- Supporting the wider shop team with tasks such as checkout assistance, managing Click & Collect orders, and fulfilling on-demand customer orders.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- Experience of working in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
- Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to support the entire branch.
