About the Role
This role supports underwriters to improve business segment efficiency, aiding in risk selection and pricing decisions. The position involves responding to distribution partner requests, reviewing risks, and making workflow improvement recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Complete preparatory underwriting tasks for quotes, new policies, and renewal policies in accordance with corporate workflow.
- Process amendment requests within authority levels in accordance with corporate workflow.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency CSRs on communication related to follow-up and maintenance of underwriting file information.
- Underwrite small renewal policies within authority levels.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree preferred.
- Equivalent work experience preferred.
- Candidates who have accepted a formal offer must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screen; additional screening for credit or MVR may be required for some positions.
