About the Role
Bacon Home Remodeling of Buffalo, NY is seeking a team leader to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of Demonstrators in promoting the brand in-person at shows and events throughout the greater Buffalo, NY area. The role involves generating prospective customers by promoting and selling products and services at promotional booths.
Responsibilities
- Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within the designated territory.
- Engage event patrons at event booths to generate leads and schedule appointments.
- Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage the team of Event Demonstrators.
- Ensure promotional booths are set up and removed from shows and events.
- Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules and calendars for self, events, and team.
- Maintain, track, and report department productivity, labor, inventory, and budget weekly.
- Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved.
- Maintain open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments.
Requirements
- Team Management & Leadership experience
- Customer Service or Business-to-Customer Marketing experience
- Recruiting & Hiring experience
- Great interpersonal skills and desire to engage with new people and customers
- Valid Driver’s License & Own Reliable Vehicle
- Ability to stand for extended hours while engaging customers at event booths
- Basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties
- Willingness to work every weekend
- Must live within a 30-minute drive of Buffalo, NY
