About the Role

Partner with Reality Labs (RL) Design software teams to produce design work that ships in product, and support design studio initiatives. This role suits a seasoned producer comfortable running several software programs, working to release cycles, and turning ambiguous creative intent into a plan, a team, and a shipped outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Produce design work end to end for assigned programs, from concept through ship, owning scope, schedule, resourcing, budget, and dependencies.
  • Drive production of recurring design reviews and leadership- and executive-level product reviews, including content plan, pre-reads, build and demo readiness, run of show, and follow-ups.
  • Own the cross-program view of design resourcing, matching talent to demand and raising capacity risks and tradeoffs.
  • Scope and manage external production partners, studios, and freelance talent for software design work.
  • Produce artifacts such as interactive prototypes, motion and concept films, and demo builds, coordinating with engineering on readiness and logistics.
  • Serve as the production point of contact for product management, engineering, research, content, and marketing, aligning design deliverables to release and launch moments.
  • Set up and maintain repeatable production practices, trackers, and documentation for software design work, including design-to-engineering handoff and asset delivery.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of production or creative program management experience.
  • Experience producing design work for shipped software products.
  • Demonstrated fluency in the software and visual design process (UX, UI, motion, and interactive prototyping) and in how design work moves through engineering to release.
  • Experience working to software release cycles and partnering closely with product management and engineering.
  • Experience running multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and contracts.
  • Experience communicating project status, risks, and creative rationale to executive stakeholders through written pre-reads, presentations, and live reviews.
