About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you will join a product squad to own the design process end-to-end, from research and shaping to building and shipping. You will work in a unique environment where designers build their own interfaces in the codebase using AI, contributing to a design system that supports millions of students globally.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PMs and engineers to take features from shaping to shipped
- Design complete experiences from initial sketches to pixel-perfect interfaces
- Build designs directly in the codebase using AI tools
- Pair with engineers through code reviews and technical constraint discussions
- Contribute to and scale the platform design system
- Improve AI skills, rules, and design system context within the codebase
- Observe teachers and students in classrooms to inform design
- Conduct user interviews and prototype testing
- Analyze user behavior using PostHog and session recordings
- Write clear interface copy and maintain consistent messaging
- Design content-heavy educational interfaces
- Shape product pitches and present work at the betting table
- Create materials to support sales and customer success teams
- Mentor team members on design thinking and user-centered approaches
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience
- Proven track record shipping successful B2B SaaS products
- Full-stack design capability with ability to build and ship front-end work
- Experience using AI coding tools in a daily workflow
- Strong visual and interaction design skills
- Experience with user research and validation
- Excellent writing skills for interface copy
- Systems thinking ability to maintain scalable design systems
- Collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams
