About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our Architectural Coatings division. This permanent role involves serving customers, promoting our brand, maintaining store presentation, and managing stock. A key responsibility includes driving a large van regularly.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers on the trade counter and in store, in a friendly and professional manner.
- Undertake all required training to confidently select the correct product for customers’ needs and promote our brand.
- Ensure your store always looks well-presented and clean.
- Follow stock management procedures by taking in deliveries and keeping the shelves full.
- Drive a large van on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Driving license is essential.
- Candidates must be confident and comfortable driving a large van on a regular basis.
Skills
- Previous experience in a customer facing environment is desirable
- Good communications skills with a positive customer focusses attitude
- Good understanding of IT systems
- Flexibility towards working hours and duties
