About the Role
We are looking for someone obsessed with AI, exceptional product experiences, and building products that millions of people will love. You will own the entire Pocket product experience, from discovery and activation to interacting with personal knowledge, AI features, and the broader AI ecosystem. This role requires a builder, thinker, and operator who can turn ambitious ideas into exceptional products, working directly with founders and leading product development across hardware, mobile, desktop, AI, and integrations. Your mission is to make Pocket one of the most loved and indispensable AI products globally.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire product lifecycle, from onboarding and activation to daily engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Ensure every interaction with Pocket is intuitive, delightful, and genuinely useful.
- Continuously identify friction, improve product quality, and elevate the customer experience.
- Define and own product success metrics across activation, engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Define and execute Pocket's product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Identify new opportunities enabled by capturing real-world conversations.
- Translate customer insights, emerging AI capabilities, and ambitious ideas into beloved products.
- Make difficult prioritization decisions and ensure team focus on key priorities.
- Push the boundaries of AI models and technologies to build AI-powered experiences that transform conversations into useful knowledge, actions, and personalized intelligence.
- Explore agents, proactive assistants, personal memory, contextual intelligence, and new product categories.
- Experiment rapidly with emerging AI capabilities and implement the best ideas.
- Make Pocket deeply connected to the broader AI ecosystem.
- Build integrations with customer tools, platforms, and workflows.
- Explore APIs, MCP, agents, and new ways to make captured knowledge actionable.
- Position Pocket as a powerful source of real-world context for AI applications.
- Own and oversee major product initiatives across the company.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, growth, and operations to deliver exceptional products.
- Drive projects from concept to launch with clear ownership, priorities, and accountability.
- Establish a culture of rapid experimentation, high standards, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain close customer contact, gathering feedback and understanding usage patterns.
Requirements
- Have built and shipped exceptional consumer products that people genuinely love.
- Possess strong product intuition and an exceptional eye for design and user experience.
- Be deeply passionate about AI and actively experiment with new models, tools, and capabilities.
- Think from first principles and challenge conventional product assumptions.
- Combine ambitious long-term thinking with relentless day-to-day execution.
- Be highly analytical and comfortable making decisions using both data and intuition.
- Thrive in fast-moving environments with high ownership and minimal bureaucracy.
- Be able to work directly with engineers and designers, challenge ideas, and drive decisions.
- Care about the smallest product details while understanding the bigger picture.
- Be a builder at heart, not a process manager.
- Experience building a product from 0 to 1 and successfully scaling it is a plus.
- Experience at a world-class consumer technology or AI company is a plus.
- Experience building products involving LLMs, AI agents, personal knowledge, or developer ecosystems is a plus.
- Experience across both hardware and software experiences is a plus.
- Experience founding a company or operating as an early product leader at a high-growth startup is a plus.
