About the Role
We are looking for a talented housekeeper responsible for the meticulous upkeep of property models, vacant units, and all common interior and exterior areas, ensuring the property is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. Proactively communicate opportunities for site improvements and/or repairs.
Responsibilities
- Clean available units and/or model homes and common areas (e.g., pool area, gym, property office) as directed.
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down trim and molding, cleaning glass windows and doors, sweeping exterior patios, trash pickup and removal, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Follow safety standards when performing tasks.
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations when using chemicals or operating equipment.
- Clean and properly store equipment and supplies at the end of each shift.
- Follow proper infection control and universal precautions when performing tasks.
- Perform other duties as directed by the property manager.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
- Must comply with all safety requirements.
- Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
Experience Level
- Three to six months of housekeeping experience preferred.
Education Level
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
