About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you will leverage your knowledge and experience to assist Pet Parents in selecting appropriate nutrition and solutions for their pets. You will join a team of dedicated Pet Experts, enjoying the daily satisfaction of helping pet owners. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and advance within a leading North American pet retail company.
Responsibilities
- Perform cashier and customer sales duties.
- Prepare merchandise orders, manage banking, and complete other administrative tasks.
- Stock merchandise, including pet supplies and household items under 10 lbs, in the sales area.
- Conduct general store maintenance, such as sweeping and dusting.
- Assist with unloading delivery vehicles and stocking pet food and supplies (items up to 50 lbs).
- Undertake other required duties and tasks.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is required.
- Proficiency with POS systems is necessary.
- Must possess an outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work scheduled hours, including weekends and evenings, and meet attendance requirements.
- Reliable transportation to and from the store is essential.
