  • Work directly with client accounting and finance teams to resolve reporting issues and obtain required information.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and internal accounting specialists to address review comments and complex accounting matters.
  • Supervise and develop seniors and associates, including assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and providing timely feedback.
  • Monitor engagement economics, staffing, and resource needs across concurrent engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the client’s SEC reporting processes, documentation, controls, and overall reporting readiness.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, reporting processes, and underlying accounting to effectively manage recurring reporting requirements and proactively identify potential reporting issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent field.
  • Five or more years of current or recent experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, external financial reporting, or technical accounting.
  • Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing Forms 10-K and 10-Q and related financial statement disclosures.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
