About the Role
We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Butlers Team at The Lanesborough, a luxury mansion hotel located near Hyde Park and exclusive shopping districts. As a Butler, you will promote hotel facilities, provide a memorable guest experience, and manage all amenities, facilities, and guest requirements within guest rooms or suites. You will be attentive, respond swiftly to guest needs, and anticipate their requirements throughout their stay. Coordination with relevant departments and maintaining guest history using the Opera system and private log are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Promote and be confident with all the facilities offered at The Lanesborough
- Provide a memorable experience to each and every guest
- Responsible for all amenities, facilities and guests requirements within the guest room or suite
- Be attentive and respond swiftly to guest requirements
- Ensuring genuine recognition and anticipating guests' needs during every step of their stay
- Coordinate in preparation for the guests' stay by communicating to relevant departments
- Upholding an extensive guest's history using Opera system and the Butler private log
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 5-star establishment is essential
- Experience in the luxury London market would be preferred
- Excellent command of the English language
- A second language would be preferred
- Immaculate grooming standards
- Extensive knowledge of emotional intelligence, body language and non-verbal communication
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Show drive for Excellent Customer Service
- Be available, flexible and willing to work a 24-hr roaster when required
- An element of Manual handling will be required
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
