- Incorporate AI-driven configuration recommendations, actionable health alerts, and bad-configuration warnings.
- Simplify accessibility for IT generalists by designing intuitive workflows and self-guided administrative tools.
- Execute Hybrid Architecture Modernization, leading the evolution of Cloudera Manager into an orchestrator of clusters across multiple clouds.
- Achieve uninterrupted core operations at scale by optimizing cluster lifecycle operations for environments up to 10,000 nodes.
- Define predictable lifecycle and API guarantees, enforcing policies for public API stability and backward compatibility.
- Track operational success metrics, focusing on increasing operational velocity, boosting prescriptive feature adoption, and reducing support escalation volumes.

- Strong foundational understanding of open datalakes, data movement, enterprise data governance, and big data architecture.
- Basic technical understanding of virtualization and data center networking.
- Basic technical understanding of VM-based public cloud deployments (IaaS/PaaS), object storage architectures (S3, ADLS, GCS), and network architectures for at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Demonstrated success in transforming complex, developer-centric platforms into intuitive, 'opinionated' products with active guardrails that eliminate manual operational friction.
- CSP Partner Ecosystem Experience: Direct experience working with or within major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), including partner co-development, cloud marketplace programs, or cloud-native integrations.
- Strong knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and competitive solutions, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery/Bigtable, Amazon EMR/Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
- Familiarity with open table formats (e.g., Apache Iceberg) and multi-cloud data architecture strategies.
