About the Role
Join the hilarious mis-adventure at Shrek’s Adventure! London as a Character Entertainer. Use your acting skills to entertain guests and fill the very big, Ogre-like shoes of a beloved character.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality, interactive, and fun meet-and-greet show.
- Be part of a unique, hard-working, and thrilling Entertainments Team.
- Create a truly memorable experience for every guest.
- Perform for over 100,000 guests annually.
- Utilize theatrical skills daily and gain performance experience.
- Work alongside a team of actors and meet new people.
- Develop operational skills, including learning show gags and timed performances.
- Support the smooth running of shows by maintaining energy, character focus, and performance quality.
- Exhibit full flexibility, including weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements
- Previous experience in acting or performance (theatre, immersive attractions, or similar).
- Must be between the height of 6ft - 6ft 4in.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Strong character acting skills with confidence to perform in costume.
- Ability to memorize scripts and adhere to strict timings.
- Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
- Physical stamina for high-energy performances throughout the day.
- Team player with professionalism and reliability.
