About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in mental health and the eating disorder field. Monte Nido River Towns is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Our treatment approach focuses on restoring balance, implementing healthy routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and developing motivation and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key player in integrating and supporting clients through their recovery journey.
- Provide support and intervention consistent with the client’s treatment plan.
- Engage clients in developing healthy and appropriate connections with other clients and the team.
- Assist in food preparation and set-up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
- Gain exposure to therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations.
- Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
Requirements
- At least two years of post-high school education.
- At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
- Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
- Good communication and client relations skills.
- Service orientation.
