About the Role
London Business School is seeking a highly organised and service-focused Programme Administrator to support the delivery of its portfolio of degree programmes. Working with Programme Managers, Senior Programme Managers and Programme Directors, you’ll help ensure students and colleagues receive accurate, timely and responsive support throughout the programme journey. You’ll be part of a collaborative Degree Programmes team, supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds and countries. The role combines student-facing service with programme administration, event support, learning delivery and financial administration. Some evening and weekend work is required to support programme activity; time off in lieu is provided.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the shared Student Support inbox, allocate enquiries and respond promptly and accurately to student requests.
- Prepare student letters and business cards, process verification requests and support attendance monitoring and student travel-card requests.
- Provide a welcoming first point of contact for students and stakeholders, resolve enquiries or escalate them appropriately, and raise student welfare concerns with Programme Managers.
- Support the student experience through day-to-day engagement, event attendance and administration of student systems, including SEAtS.
- Coordinate the Graduate Master’s mentoring programme, matching students with mentors across programmes.
- Support student business project submissions by liaising with supervisors, tracking deadlines, organising marking and keeping accurate records.
- Help deliver programme events and activities, including orientation, exchange activities, speaker events, Congregation and examination boards.
- Provide meeting and event administration, including room bookings, catering, calendar management, agendas, action logs and papers.
- Maintain accurate records in line with School quality-assurance requirements; process invoices and expense claims and support budget tracking.
- Work collaboratively across the School, support colleagues and contribute ideas to improve processes, systems and service delivery.
Requirements
- Proficiency in commonly used IT packages, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with databases is important, and PowerPoint is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and responsive approach to customer service.
- Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who also takes ownership and responsibility for their work.
- Confidence working under pressure, prioritising workload and supporting multiple programmes and stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to suggest improvements and adapt to change.
