About the Role
Join Hach, a global leader dedicated to improving water quality worldwide. We are seeking an Operator for our instrument manufacturing facility in Berlin Zehlendorf to contribute to our mission of protecting the world's most valuable resource.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for production by checking manufacturing orders, assembling materials based on parts lists, and setting up workstations.
- Operate machinery and equipment, including setup, changeover, program initiation, and ensuring material supply.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic component assembly according to drawings (e.g., screwing, pressing, soldering, gluing).
- Conduct visual and functional quality checks, use measuring instruments, and troubleshoot errors.
- Document results and orders in paper or electronic systems.
- Support various task areas flexibly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by reporting deviations and actively participating in process optimization.
Requirements
- Technical understanding and manual dexterity.
- Experience in assembly or production is advantageous.
- Careful and quality-conscious work approach.
- Teamwork and flexibility.
- Willingness to take responsibility.
