About the Role
As a Senior Trader at Pave Bank, you will execute multi-asset trading strategies and manage the bank's FX and digital asset exposures, liquidity, and treasury operations. You will optimize trade execution, manage risk, and strengthen the bank's network of liquidity providers. You will also build and improve trading and treasury workflows using AI tools and automation.
Responsibilities
- Execute multi-asset trades across FX, digital assets, and fixed income with precision, speed, and risk discipline.
- Build and manage the firm's OTC book, sourcing trading opportunities.
- Devise and implement execution strategies to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
- Manage real-time FX and digital asset exposures within defined limits.
- Own intraday and end-of-day treasury operations across various platforms.
- Help manage and expand the network of liquidity providers and OTC counterparties.
- Onboard partners, benchmark pricing performance, and eliminate single points of failure.
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Champion the use of AI tools and automation to streamline desk reporting, market analysis, and treasury forecasts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in FX, OTC execution, treasury, or liquidity management at a buy-side/sell-side institution, bank, broker, crypto firm, or fintech.
- Advanced proficiency using industry-standard trading software and financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal).
- Solid grasp of global financial markets, including FX (G20 & EM), fixed income products, derivatives, and digital assets.
- Active familiarity with AI tools and automation methods.
- Highly numerate with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong risk fundamentals with the confidence to make quick, well-calibrated decisions.
- Clear, confident communication style.
- Strong bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
