About the Role
You will be the designer for one of Cartrack's problem spaces, responsible for researching users, designing flows and screens, prototyping, and collaborating with engineering until customer adoption. This role offers the opportunity to grow into ownership of a product space, influencing the roadmap, priorities, and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities

- Design user flows, interactions, and visual elements for complex, data-heavy screens.
- Create clickable prototypes for user testing and engineering handoff.
- Contribute to and maintain the design system.
- Collaborate with engineering on specifications and edge cases to ensure successful product launches.
- Develop and manage a roadmap with dated milestones for the assigned product space.
- Align sales, support, and leadership teams behind the product direction and manage incoming requests.
- Own and monitor a live scorecard for the product space and determine future iterations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a product designer in B2B or complex software environments.
- A portfolio showcasing problem definition, decision-making process, and outcomes, not just final designs.
- Proficiency in interaction and visual design for dense, data-heavy interfaces.
- Experience planning and conducting user research (interviews, usability tests) and translating findings into actionable decisions.
- Experience working with and contributing to a design system.
