  • Design and further develop the curriculum on media resilience topics.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations, experts, and trainers from journalism, civil society, and international press associations.

  • Adhere to the project budget and perform ongoing budget controlling.
  • Support the Finance team in documenting fund utilization.
  • Report to the MacArthur Foundation according to funding guidelines.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional experience in project management, ideally in journalism, international cooperation, civil society, or philanthropy.
  • Experience in establishing and expanding new, impact-oriented fellowship or exchange programs.
  • Good to very good knowledge of the international media ecosystem; knowledge of investigative and public-value journalism, as well as personal contacts with international journalists' associations and advocacy groups, are advantageous.
  • Interest in quality journalism, media resilience, and the societal conditions for an independent public sphere.
  • Independent, structured, and reliable work style, even under high workload.
