About the Role
Argus Search is a specialized HR and Finance recruitment consultancy connecting top talent with leading companies in Berlin. We are seeking a motivated individual for the role of Senior Finance Manager (gn).
Responsibilities
- Steering and continuous optimization of financial accounting processes
- Further development and efficient use of existing ERP and financial systems
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team
- Coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Support of annual audits
- Central interface between internal departments, finance departments, and external partners
- Optimization and automation of financial processes and participation in transformation projects
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification with a focus on accounting/finance
- Several years of professional experience (min. 5-7 years) in accounting
- Proficient user skills in common MS Office programs, especially Excel, as well as general IT affinity and willingness for digital development
- Analytical and structured way of working with a high affinity for numbers and problem-solving skills
- Proactivity, sense of responsibility, and a reliable, meticulous work ethic
- Fluent German and very good English language skills
