About the Role

We are looking for someone to manage social media content from ideation to execution, creating, editing, and publishing content that brings our brand to life.

Responsibilities

  • Design, edit, and produce daily social-first content (Reels, TikToks, Visuals) from concept to final cut and publication.
  • Sharpen and consistently develop our brand image through design, tonality, and storytelling.
  • Build a reusable brand system (guidelines, templates, creative principles) that scales across channels and brands.
  • Establish recognizable content series (recurring formats/series) that the target audience regularly returns to.
  • Take responsibility for content planning and publishing rhythm on key social media channels.
  • Produce social media-first content and/or lead creatively (video, static visuals, short-form series), including strong introductions, text overlays, and editing.
  • Collaborate closely with growth/ads teams to develop high-performing creatives and improve them through rapid test cycles.
  • Translate performance data into clear creative decisions regarding what to emphasize, discontinue, and test next.
  • Develop and implement cooperation concepts with creators, communities, and local partners.
  • Build lean partner packages (materials, briefings, formats) to simplify content creation and sharing for collaborators.
  • Identify scalable distribution levers that increase reach without diluting the brand.

Requirements

  • Ability to be present in one of our offices (Cologne, Berlin, or London) at least 2-3 times per week.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Creative.
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with amateur football, either through playing, club membership, or as a fan with a good understanding of the sport.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to shaping initiatives rather than just executing tasks, even without a fully defined roadmap.

Skills

  • Brand Building: Ability to build brands sustainably through content, not just individual campaigns.
  • Visual Taste: Excellent visual taste in design and editing.
  • Motion Basics: Motion design/animation skills (template-based, fast, and scalable).
  • Creative Strategy: Strong skills in positioning, format/series development, channel thinking, and a pronounced distribution mindset.
  • Data Skills: Comfortable with data, understanding key social and paid creative performance metrics, and deriving smart learnings.
  • Hands-on Mentality: Ability to work quickly and pragmatically while raising the creative bar.
  • Copywriting: Skills in hooks, captions, and series framing.
  • Editing: Short-form storytelling with a clear narrative flow.
  • Production: Creator briefing and direction for efficient content production.
  • Culture Fit: Deep understanding of sports/football culture, tonality, and matchday dynamics.
  • Design: Social-first design and packaging (format setup, thumbnails/title cards, recognizability).
  • Tools: Figma, Adobe Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), CapCut, Notion, Meta & TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube Studio (Shorts publishing & analytics).
