About the Role
Join an exciting new Eurest site in North Sydney as a passionate and innovative Chef to lead a small kitchen team. Enjoy a Monday to Friday roster from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, working corporate days and hours.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and innovation
- Assist with menu planning featuring local, seasonal, and plant-forward ingredients
- Mentor and motivate kitchen staff
- Manage food safety, hygiene, and stock
- Utilize digital systems for ordering and rostering
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably within corporate or fine dining settings
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- 3 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Skilled in buffet-style and à la carte service
- Strong time management skills
- Allergen awareness
- Knowledge of HACCP and safe food handling practices
- Passionate about food and delivering exceptional customer service
- Professional communication skills
