About the Role
Leap is experiencing rapid growth and requires scalable analytics to support its expanding operations. This role will build analytics and models for the Networks team, focusing on drug prioritization, partner selection, member routing, and volume commitments. The position also involves becoming an expert in the Impact Analysis framework to demonstrate Leap's value to clients and tie partner stories to employer savings.
Responsibilities
- Score bids and rate cards from specialty pharmacies, manufacturers, infusion providers, and nursing agencies against Leap’s price targets to inform negotiations.
- Build prevalence and volume models using claims and membership data to project demand by drug, therapeutic area, and region.
- Develop geographic capacity models to identify areas with insufficient infusion center and nursing coverage relative to projected membership.
- Construct the value proposition for drug manufacturers, detailing the members, volume, and sites of care Leap provides.
- Define requirements for 2027 buy-side tools, including rate-card comparison, preferred-partner routing, price tracking, and A-F pricing grades, and collaborate with Engineering for their implementation.
- Operate and continuously improve the accuracy and speed of buy-side tools.
- Replace recurring manual analyses with AI-enabled workflows for broader team use.
- Partner with the enterprise sales team on strategic deals by tailoring analyses for prospects, brokers, and benefits consultants.
- Utilize Impact Analysis tooling and healthcare claims data expertise to build analyses for benefits leaders at large US employers, suitable for CFO or benefits committee review.
- Create templates, frameworks, and tools to enable the sales team to deliver scalable, high-quality proposals.
- Identify patterns in savings across drugs and categories to inform pricing and targeting strategies.
- Analyze pricing model trade-offs between client savings and network pricing.
- Prioritize drug and network initiatives that drive growth across client segments.
- Provide CEO-level recommendations on investment and partnership decisions.
Requirements
- 4-8+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, or a similarly quantitative role.
- Proven track record of building rigorous analyses and models from scratch, including in Excel.

- Ability to extract insights from messy data and communicate them as clear recommendations.
- Confidence in presenting recommendations to executive audiences (internal and external).
- Experience building scalable tools or processes in partnership with product or engineering teams.
- Background in Management consulting (ideally life sciences) or investment banking, or analytics and strategy at a drug manufacturer, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or health tech company.
