About the Role
Thompsons Solicitors, the UK’s leading social justice law firm, is seeking dedicated and driven lawyers at all levels to join our specialist Clinical Negligence team. This is a senior opportunity to use your expertise where it truly matters: securing justice for injured and vulnerable clients who rely on us to fight their corner.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-value, multi-track caseload from initial client interview through to successful resolution.
- Lead complex clinical negligence claims with skill, empathy and sound strategic judgement.
- Ensure the highest standards of litigation and client care.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior lawyers.
- Provide technical guidance, oversight, and support to junior lawyers.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
Requirements
- Qualified Clinical Negligence Lawyer with a genuine desire to make their work count.
- Proven experience managing complex clinical negligence claims.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience, with the ability to support, guide and develop colleagues.
- Confidence in identifying and driving key medico-legal issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong commitment to exceptional client care.
- Commitment to social justice, high professional standards, and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.
