About the Role
Otis Elevator Company is seeking motivated candidates for a Field Operations Intern position for Summer 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in a field operations environment, including jobsite coordination, safety, customer interaction, and project execution. Interns will work onsite at customer and construction locations, collaborating with field teams.
Responsibilities
- Gain immersive, hands-on experience in a field operations environment.
- Work onsite at customer and construction locations.
- Collaborate with field teams.
- Learn the responsibilities of a Field Supervisor.
- Gain hands-on experience and broaden operations, communication, and business acumen skills.
- Be immersed in the Otis culture.
- Support growth in various lines of business: servicing existing elevators and escalators, installing new elevators and escalators, and modernizing elevators.
- Engage in projects related to core branch office functions that are customer focused, result-oriented, and performance driven.
- Utilize teamwork, research, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
- Must be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
- Prior field operations or construction internship experience is a plus.

- Must be actively pursuing a degree and remain enrolled in an accredited degree program following the internship start date in Summer 2027.
Salary/Compensations
- $25/hr to $32/hr
