About the Role
RSM is seeking an enthusiastic Cyber Security Consultant to join their team. This role involves delivering offensive security services, including digital footprint reconnaissance, social engineering, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments, to high-profile clients across various industries. The position offers ongoing coaching, career mentoring, and support through a defined career pathway, with opportunities to develop market-leading skills and advance professional development.
Responsibilities
- Supporting technical scoping activities as part of client assignments.
- Delivering fieldwork and assignment reporting.
- Prioritizing and managing tasks through to completion.
- Staying current with the latest cyber-attacks and technology trends.
Requirements
- Industry-recognized certification (e.g., CompTIA PenTest+, CHECK, CREST, OSCP).
- Experience in offensive security and penetration testing.
- Demonstrable experience in infrastructure and web application testing.
- Demonstrable experience using common penetration testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Burpsuite, Nessus).
- Relevant experience within a cyber security role.
- Familiarity with technology trends and cyber threats.
- Experience in API testing is desirable.
