About the Role
Join RSM UK as the GVRC Compliance Manager to drive excellence in global VAT compliance, shaping VAT compliance services across the UK, EU, and beyond. You will be at the heart of a dynamic team, ensuring quality and efficiency in tax reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, timely VAT compliance services across UK, EU, and international markets.
- Provide expert insights on VAT returns and assure quality in indirect tax filings.
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients by understanding their unique VAT requirements and anticipating compliance opportunities.
- Support efficiency improvements by building a knowledge centre for VAT compliance within the team.
- Lead and develop junior team members in VAT compliance and client service.
- Take the lead on VAT compliance engagements, providing insightful analysis, quality assurance, and exceptional client service.
- Act as the central point of contact for clients.
- Oversee the accuracy of all indirect tax filings.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business models and VAT needs.
- Mentor junior team members, ensuring their growth and supporting RSM’s commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- Strong VAT compliance skills, ideally from a European or global role.
- Passion for VAT process improvement and technology enablement.
- Solid experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent relationship management.
- Ability to handle international projects.
