About the Role
Bentley is seeking a Principal Product Manager to act as a liaison and advocate for Bentley Infrastructure Cloud (BIC), fostering collaborative relationships and serving as the connection between Platform's APIs and BIC as the data platform for infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison and advocate for Bentley Infrastructure Cloud (BIC).
- Serve as the connection between Platform's APIs and BIC.
- Bridge domain-specific requirements from Infrastructure Cloud with Platform technology and priorities.
- Deeply understand the objectives, needs, motivations, and constraints of the Infrastructure Clouds team.
- Translate Infrastructure Cloud needs into actionable Platform product requirements.
- Provide input on segmentation of capabilities between Platform and first-party products.
- Facilitate alignment among stakeholders to reach decisions benefiting Bentley and its customers.
- Perform traditional product management for Platform products and services aligned with Infrastructure Cloud.
- Promote a culture of openness, collaboration, authenticity, and transparency.
- Sit or stand at will while performing work on a computer.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management or business development experience.
- Experience working on highly technical software projects in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry or similar domains.
- A strong track record of driving significant and sustained long-term customer or partner success.
- Credible to a world-class engineering team; tech savvy with an understanding of business impact.
- Obsessed with priorities, creating impact, and testing them against customer needs, strategy, and objectives.
- Lead through influence by guiding stakeholders toward shared outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal savvy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and engineers.
- Frequent travel is required.
- Time zone management as part of a global team.
