About the Role
RSM's national Technology & Cyber Risk Assurance (TRA) practice provides assurance, advice, and solutions to enable clients to manage their digital risk and move forward with confidence. As a Senior Consultant within TRA, you will work collaboratively with other teams across RSM to best serve clients, guided by good practice principles and the latest technologies. You’ll work on engagements ranging from digital strategy and project management to cyber risk and cloud security to data protection and information governance.
Responsibilities
- Helping clients manage their IT controls and risks by advising on how to address technology risk challenges.
- Identifying areas for improvement in controls and suggesting innovative, value-added solutions.
- Successfully performing complex Technology Risk Assurance assignments.
- Supporting the development of team members.
- Managing assignment delivery to ensure completion within time and budget.
- Providing solutions to issues as appropriate to the Director/Partner.
- Building client relationships and identifying potential additional work opportunities.
Requirements
- Professionally qualified e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent with relevant experience within IT Audit, preferably within professional services.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver work within budget in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to take ownership of assignments through to successful completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience producing high-quality documentation and reports.
- Confidence in client-facing environments.
- Committed to delivering a premium client service.
- Proactive and professional approach.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and offices as required.
