About the Role
RSM's consulting team brings together diverse advisory experts to deliver six core solutions, including business transformation. The Finance Transformation team, within Business Transformation Consulting, is seeking an experienced individual to partner with CFOs to design and implement future-ready Finance operating models, elevating teams, enhancing effectiveness, and modernizing digital footprints.
Responsibilities
- Establish trust and credibility quickly to build effective client relationships.
- Contribute to client proposals and presentations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients in identifying, analyzing, and solving business challenges.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business, vision, and needs.
- Evaluate and deploy pragmatic solutions to elevate client teams and enhance effectiveness.
- Modernize clients' digital footprints.
Requirements
- Solid and demonstrable PQE experience with an established portfolio of work experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Strong academic record, preferably with a relevant or business-focused degree (such as finance, accounting, business management or data analytics).
- Good understanding of finance processes and what ‘good looks like’ (e.g. across financial planning & analysis (FP&A), record-to-report (R2R), procure-to-pay (P2P), and order-to-cash (O2C)).
- Ability to use knowledge of ‘good practice’ to identify process gaps, analyze impact, and propose solutions with senior team members.
- Ability to work in cross-functional project teams, manage stakeholders, and drive change in complex environments.
- Strong project management skills, with some experience of delivering transformation initiatives on time and within budget.
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and influence at all levels.
- Good client relationship management skills.
- Must be a team player, able to work in virtual teams and independently.
- Proactive, organised, and self-motivated.
- High proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
