About the Role
Join Grow – Insights, the team that transforms data from 70+ million Linktree profiles into actionable insights for creators. As a full-stack engineer, you will work across the entire development path, from event instrumentation and data aggregation to API development and building user-facing surfaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with both data and its users, directly impacting how creators understand their audience and contributing to Linktree's mission.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship analytics surfaces for creators, including the Insights page and AI-powered insights chat.
- Own the end-to-end metric lifecycle: client instrumentation, event ingestion, aggregation, GraphQL API, and rendering interface.
- Extend social platform integrations for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram performance data.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to define measurement strategies and create technical plans.
- Ensure data trustworthiness through attribution, quality checks, and entitlement management.
- Integrate AI into development processes and product features to help creators interpret data.
- Enhance system reliability, performance, and observability, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in product, analytics, or data-facing roles.
- Proficiency in full-stack development with TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and AWS.
- Experience with data technologies including SQL, data modeling, event schemas, and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Experience designing and integrating APIs and third-party services, particularly social or platform APIs.
- Fluency in AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Codex), including prompting, validation, and refinement.
- Strong product sense for identifying valuable metrics and comfort interpreting data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with product, design, and data partners across different time zones.
