About the Role
Evan S. Wetzler Dental Practice is seeking a skilled Periodontist to join their high-demand practice in Yorktown Heights, NY. This role offers the autonomy and patient-focused environment of a private practice, combined with an established referral network, experienced team, and operational support. The practice focuses on allowing providers to spend more time on patient care and less time managing the business.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional periodontal care with a focus on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.
- Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions using evidence-based approaches.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs and goals.
- Build strong relationships with patients and referring dentists.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients about their periodontal health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow all applicable clinical, safety and compliance standards.
- Stay current with advancements in periodontal treatment, technology and clinical best practices.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Certificate in Periodontics from an accredited program.
- Active state dental license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Active DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general dentists, specialists and clinical teams.
