About the Role
Under supervision, Interns at Steinberg Hart rotate through a variety of projects to gain exposure to a cross section of the firm’s practice areas as well as through all phases of projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and assemble client deliverables utilizing CAD, Revit, Sketchup, Illustrator, etc.
- Generate plan layouts, elevations, and sections in collaboration with project design staff and Design Directors.
- Conduct material, code, vendor, and supplier research.
- Build physical models using 3D printers and laser cutters.
- Assist the Marketing Department with general graphics and project pursuits.
- Assist project teams with construction administration tasks and site visits.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a School of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or aligned Degree Program.
- Basic knowledge of architectural building systems.
- Basic understanding of the arrangement of working drawings, as well as structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Desire to learn, accept direction, and be mentored.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
- Basic knowledge in all relevant computer software.
