About the Role
BAART Treatment Centers are dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support and medical services. Responsibilities
- Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
- Obtain a history and physical exam.
- Document into the EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or write a buprenorphine prescription.
- Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence.
- Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
- Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Requirements
- 1-year of addiction medicine and MAT experience required.
- License must be in good standing in the state of California.
- Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
