  • Design Workday data extracts and RaaS reports for BigQuery and the analytics platform.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and on-call practices for integrations.
  • Design integrations and security to satisfy SOX ITGC requirements.
  • Stay current on Workday releases, assess impact, and adopt new capabilities.
  • Write documentation, integration inventory, and data dictionaries.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in HRIS, enterprise integration, or systems architecture.
  • At least 6+ years designing and building Workday integrations.
  • Experience taking at least one full Workday HCM implementation live as the integration lead or architect, including payroll and benefits integrations.
  • Expertise with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services (SOAP and REST), RaaS, calculated fields, XSLT/XPath, and integration security.
  • Hands-on experience with an iPaaS or middleware platform (Workato strongly preferred).

  • Rigorous approach to data validation and reconciliation.
  • Experience operating in a SOX or audit-facing environment.
  • Ability to design for failure, test thoroughly, and document work.
  • Comfortable translating between People, Finance, Payroll, IT, Security, and Engineering.
