Responsibilities

  • Own finance systems and data.
  • Diagnose process inefficiencies and design improved reconciliation workflows.
  • Own the integrity of data flowing across Finance systems including custodian exports, CRM, billing, CPQ, commissions, payments, and the ERP.
  • Establish and report on key metrics for reconciliation health.

  • Evaluate new tools and system changes to support company scaling and build business cases for investment.
  • Design controls, access permissions, and audit trails for financial data.
  • Document system architecture, data flows, and processes.
  • Support audit requests related to systems, reconciliations, and automated controls.

Requirements

  • Experience in a startup and/or with AI implementation is highly desirable.
  • You feel constrained in your current role, limited by red-tape and approvals instead of testing new processes and automations that push the bounds of what is possible.
  • Strong knowledge of AI and data infrastructure frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Fluent in scripting (e.g., Python), SQL and advanced Excel/Sheets.
  • Experience stitching data across multiple systems (CRM, ERP, payment platforms, internal databases).
  • You’ve built or significantly improved financial reporting, reconciliation, or revenue data systems.
  • You are deeply analytical and comfortable working with large, complex datasets.
