About the Role
HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking an HVAC technician to join their team. This role involves on-site installation and repair of HVAC systems, representing the company to customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert diagnosis and repair.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
- Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
- Serve as the direct customer contact for assigned projects.
- Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
- Use cutting-edge software, technology, and hand tools to diagnose and repair units, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
- Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Typically 5 plus years of experience in HVAC.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., Smartphone, iPad).
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
- EPA Certification.
