About the Role
Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries like food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, scalable, and productive. This role is crucial for establishing and scaling the employee experience at Atoms.
Responsibilities
- Stand up employee experience at Atoms, setting strategy and roadmap across onboarding, engagement, internal communications, and learning.
- Own the new hire orientation experience, both in-person and virtual, tailoring it by business unit.
- Build communications, resources, and 90-day toolkits to ensure new hires and their managers succeed.
- Oversee global all-hands, anniversary events, new hire Q&As with leadership, and a monthly in-person event series.
- Manage internal content that shares business unit progress.
- Own communications strategy and writing for company-wide announcements, all-hands, and recurring programs like performance reviews and promotions.
- Build communication plans for organizational changes, program changes, and the integration of newly acquired teams.
- Build and expand Atoms' learning programs, starting with training for frontline managers.
- Utilize data such as engagement, onboarding ramp, and attrition to guide investment decisions and demonstrate impact.
- Build and lead a team across onboarding, engagement, communications, and learning.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Workplace teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years in employee experience, internal communications, or related people programs.
- 3+ years managing a team.
- Experience building programs from scratch with a lean team.
- Comfortable doing the work yourself as well as setting strategy.
- Experience owning internal communications for a company, including executive and change communications.
- Experience running onboarding and engagement for in-person teams across multiple offices at a high-volume hiring company.
- Ability to hold a high bar, move quickly, and stay hands-on.
